Dear Readers,

It’s currently 29 degrees here in London! So, I thought what better way to cool down than to pull together a few of my favourite summer scenes?

From Emma Amos’ burning palette to Gluck’s frolicking flower goddess, Hilary Pecis’ glimmering swimming pool to March Avery’s sunflowers wilting in the heat — these are some artworks which sum up summer for me.
