Your podcast and the exhibitions you highlight are so important in order to understand Krasner’s power, artistry, and generosity to Pollock while living, and later, to his legacy. “Art History” has ignored her agency and ability to overcome and leave her own art’s legacy.

What a fantastic podcast series. Incredibly detailed and completely fascinating. I'd heard Lee's name mentioned before in passing, but knew nothing about her or her work. What a woman and what an artist! Thanks, Katy!

Her story reminds us that behind every celebrated figure, there’s often a partner whose contributions are equally monumental, yet frequently overshadowed. It’s intriguing to consider how Krasner’s legacy might have unfolded if viewed independently from Pollock’s earlier on. Thank you for bringing her story to light in such a compelling way.

The Barbican show was a revelation and I had definitely heard of her and knew some of her work but to see such an overview in one place just confirmed her importance. I can thoroughly recommend Gail Levin's biography

Really interesting and well presented. So interesting to hear how influential she was in Pollock’s success to the detriment of her own. Will you maybe follow on with another female artist?
